I am pleased to announce that Robin Spidell has been named the new Section Administrator for the Section of Hematology and Oncology effective Monday, May 27th. Robin has been with the Department of Medicine for nearly 10 years, and I am excited for him to bring his years of experience in both the department and the college to the Section. I want to thank Nancy Ramirez for her administrative leadership of the section, she has done a tremendous job keeping the section on track.
As a friendly reminder, the deadline to complete our annual training is quickly approaching. All OSHA, Compliance, and Communicate with Heart coursework should be completed NLT 30 June. Additionally, the 2024 MSSP training has also been released to employees participating in an Accountable Care Organization. Messaging about the MSSP training went out to all applicable employees by Dr. Shaib in March. The deadline to complete that course is 11 June.
